Everyone leaves!

People leave, everyone leaves.

Sometimes it is time that takes them away and sometimes they walk away by themselves. Days like these I like hearing that if anyone wants to stay in your life, they will. If they really want to, if they have the ability and the desire to do so, they will stay. Yes, I can choose to hate them a lot, talk trash about them, malign them for leaving, but that, despite being easy, would be absolutely wrong. Till the time they were around, they made life absolutely amazing. They laughed with you, they cried with you, they sang songs with you, they dreamed dreams with you. As much as you want to miss them, your life has stopped being about them.

Your life is and always has been about you. Always. And along with that the people who stick around. People who stuck around when the others left. The one who uplifted you from the darkness you found yourself due to the void that was left. And all those new people who are a morning full of sunshine in your life. Those people who laugh and eye-roll at your atrocious jokes, the ones who play your ridiculous games and indulge in your wackiest thought experiments, the ones who are always ready to help you at a hat’s drop, the ones who are kind enough to cradle you in their warmth letting you heal in your own time, yet be self-respecting enough to maintain their and your integrity. See them, respect them, tell them how important they are, tell them how much you love them.

Go and tell the people these people how much they mean to you; go now. People leave, but some will always be around, people who choose you.
